I'm lookin' for some new cool-sounding music?

For my iPod. I like stuff that has a cool unique sound, like Depeche Mode, The Doors, the Cure, The Beatles, music from Across the Universe, the dreaming, live, lacuna coil, audioslave, collective soul, third eye blind, nirvana, A perfect cirlce, janis joplin, blah blah blah. I hate whiny mope rock music, and annoying pop music. Any suggestions?
