Is my boyfriend over his ex's even though they're the mothers of his children?

I believe he probably loves you or he would be living with his ex and their kids, but I do not think he is completely over his ex. If he was, he wouldn't be talking to her so much. I understand they have children, but 5 times a day. That is not normal. The fact that she does know about you proof that he has made your relationship known, which is important.
