What color paint would go best with a black and gold bed set?

I found a black and gold bed set that i love but im having a real hard time trying to decide what color to paint the walls.. the bed set is black with alot of gold like swirly type designs on it.. there is more gold than black and since theres not too much black in it im goin with black carpet.. (also cuz i hav four kids and dont want nothin to show on it if spilled)..
