How to get him to kiss me???.........and what hes really thinking?????????

weve been dating for about a week..and he hasnt kissed me yet...when were in the car..driving..hell play with my hands a little bit...and when he drops me off..ill lean in and hug him...he stays leaned in as im getting out of the car......even if i just sit there leaned into him..we both just sit there...staring back kind of...but well sit there for like..20 minutes and neither of us will move lol. i sent him a txt tht said MWAH!! haha i kissed youuuuu..and he sent me one back that said mwah...but we havent actually kissed....hes 22..im 18...im not rlly sure if its cuz hes nervous...cuz we get that awkward silence in the car every now and then..neither of us say anything lol.and its usually like this for like..15 or 20 minutes before one of us will finally say something..im afraid that if i kiss him hell think im too...............idk what the word would be lol. idk if hes ready for a kiss...so i kinda want to hint at it..and i also would like to know how to read his body language to see if hes thinkin bout kissin me...every now and then hell lick his lips kinda....and if im looking away and turn to look at him i notice hes already looking at me..but when i say what..he says nothing...and looks away..then it happens again...i dont understand himmmm
